Klang Selatan Police Chief ACP Azman Abdul Razak said police were now in the process of obtaining statements from various parties, including the victim, witnesses, suspects and teachers involved.
“To record statements from the victim and witnesses was the biggest challenge to police as they were young and aged less than 10.
“We need to wait for them to calm their emotions before statements can be taken,” he told reporters here today.
Besides, all statements taken would be submitted for Bukit Aman to study while the forensic unit had also been called in to recover evidence, including blood, to support the statements of witnesses.
Last Thursday, an eight-year-old boy claimed he was forced to cut his own tongue by a group of five Year Three pupils from the same school.
