PETALING JAYA: DAP’s Hannah Yeoh has defended her speech at a ceramah in Selangor in which she told voters they would only be “punishing themselves” for “exchanging a PKR menteri besar” with a PAS menteri besar.
Caretaker Terengganu menteri besar Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar earlier slammed her for making non-Muslims fear PAS with such “evil statements”.
Yeoh stood her ground, pointing out that what she said was based on facts.
“PKR’s menteri besar was present during the floods. So I’m right, PKR’s menteri besar is better than a PAS menteri besar,” she said, referring to Samsuri’s absence during the floods in Terengganu last year.
