
Sauteed cabbage is one of the easiest and most delicious vegetable dishes to prepare. With garlic, juicy shrimp and a mouthwatering Asian sauce, this recipe will result in a healthy side dish that goes well with everything.
Eat it with noodles or rice, pair it with a protein such as a seafood or chicken dish, or enjoy it entirely on its own – it is absolutely delicious!
Ingredients
- 400g cabbage, core removed
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 115g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 heaping tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- salt, to taste

Method
- Trim off the bottom part of the cabbage and remove the core. Roughly chop the cabbage into pieces.
- Add the cooking oil to a skillet on medium-high heat. Saute the garlic until it sizzles, then add the shrimp and stir-fry.
- Add the cabbage and stir to mix well.
- Add the oyster sauce and water. Stir and cook until the cabbage wilts, softens and cooks through. Add salt to taste.
- Dish out and serve immediately with dishes of your choice.
