To keep your and your loved ones safe during the pandemic, many food outlets offer delivery services so you can satisfy your hunger in the comfort of your own home. The following five bakeries are no exception.
Featuring only the best freshly made goods, these outlets will ensure your cakes, pastries and breads reach you safely. Alternatively, do a quick pickup at your convenience. Either way, these establishments – complementing the five listed last week – are sure to bring a smile to your face.
1. Selaseh Dua @ Batu Caves
Selaseh Dua serves a wide variety of baked desserts with a special menu that changes every month. The bakery, which began in 2019, offers delicious goodies such as cupcakes, assorted chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate pudding-stuffed mini donuts.
Selaseh Dua is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Orders must be made at least 24 hours before pickup or delivery.
For inquiries or to order, contact 011-12129101 or visit Selaseh Dua on Instagram.
2. Sugar and I @ Subang Jaya

Sugar and I was started by a pair of siblings who began producing baked treats as a hobby before finally opening their bakery in 2018.
They have since been busy creating scrumptious desserts such as Japanese cream puffs and chocolate chip cookies, but their bestsellers are bombolonis, a type of Italian doughnut, which come in a range of flavours such as strawberry, Nutella, matcha and Lotus Biscoff biscuit.
Sugar and I operates every day except on Mondays.
Order from Beepit, and also visit Sugar and I on Instagram and Facebook.
3. FaSo Patisserie @ Setia Alam

FaSo Patisserie offers French-style breads and pastries such as souffles, mousses and chocolate eclairs, as well as sourdough croissants in delightful flavours such as hazelnut caramel and mango pudding.
A highlight is their FaSo box, which allows customers to sample a variety of their delicious pastries with each promotion.
The bakery-cafe, which opened last year, has unique decor to complement its stunning food presentations. All products are available for takeaway or delivery within the Klang Valley.
Check out FaSo Patisserie on Facebook and Instagram, or call 019-4861231 to order.
4. Der Backmeister @ KPJ Ampang

For a taste of German bread and pastry, Der Backmeister is a must-try. Located on the ground floor of KPJ Ampang Hospital, all its goodies are baked using only natural ingredients and made according to traditional recipes.
Highlights include the Bavarian spelt, vanille hörnchen (German croissant), baguette, kirschtasche (Danish cherry pastry), and much more.
The bakery-cafe also serves savoury foods such as German sausage and its “Big Backmeister” platter of meats, cheese, breads, spreads and eggs.
For more information, visit Der Backmeister or call 03-42650222. Also check out its profile on Instagram.
5. Dou Dou Bake @ Petaling Jaya

Pastries such as sourdough, croissants, croque, pain au and many more are available at Dou Dou Bake, while their bread loaves use a fermentation “magic” involving a wholewheat sourdough starter.
The name “Dou Dou” is derived from the word “dough” – without the last two letters as they have already been eaten.
Dou Dou also collaborates with other homegrown small businesses such as Salang Design and Jeanie Botanical.
Deliveries are available daily between 10am and 7pm, and orders should be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Check out Dou Dou’s website and Instagram profile to order, or contact 011-69635817.
