Former senator Ras Adiba Radzi is the new chairman of Sentoria

Ras Adiba Radzi will replace Abdul Rahman Imam Arshad, who will now serve as an independent and non-executive director.

Former senator Ras Adiba Radzi has assumed the position of Sentoria Group Bhd’s new independent, non-executive chairman within a week of joining the board.

Ras Adiba will replace Abdul Rahman Imam Arshad, who transitions to the role of an independent, non-executive director.

In a bourse filing, the property developer and resort operator said this move is part of a series of boardroom reshuffles.

On Jan 5, 2024, Ras Adiba, 55, was appointed to the board along with Lim Zhao Qi and Lim Poh Seong.

She also brings over 37 years of broadcasting experience and held the position of chairman at the National News Agency of Malaysia (Bernama) from 2020 to 2023.

She began her career as a broadcast journalist and television presenter with TV3, and later NTV7. She was also a national paralympic sharpshooter.

Ras Adiba was a senator during the tenure of former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin, serving from May 2020 to May 2023.

The group also announced the appointment of Loh Yuen Tuck as the new group CEO.

Loh has worked at Quilter Goodison London, SJ Securities Malaysia, Jupiter Securities, and Sun Hung Kai Hong Kong.

At the close of trading, Sentoria’s shares remained unchanged at 7.5 sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM46.72 million.
