NEW DELHI: One of India’s most famous film stars with a reputation for living dangerously, Salman Khan, was bitten by a snake and had to be treated at a hospital.
The incident happened when the actor was trying to remove the snake from his farmhouse in the Panvel area near Navi Mumbai.
“A snake had entered my farmhouse. I took it outside using a stick. Gradually, it reached my hand. I then grabbed it to release it, which is when it bit me thrice,” Salman told reporters after being discharged from the hospital.
The 56-year-old actor said he was given snake anti-venom treatments during his six-hour hospital stay.
Salman has acted in many blockbusters during his three decades in the entertainment industry.
