Caesar, a name symbolising power, dominance and authority, quite befitting of a vertically challenged beagle that asserts his dominion over all those under his roof. He may not pay the bills, but he most definitely acts as though he does.
Much like those of a shorter stature, Caesar has an overbearing and persistent confidence; he knows what he wants and will do what it takes to get it, failure or rejection are unfamiliar concepts to this little Napoleon.
“It seems that everyone under Caesar’s roof is under his rule, everyone except for the one that truly matters to him, his significant other Abigail,” says Andrew Leonard Silva.

Abigail, or Abby as she is affectionately referred to, is a beautiful labrador with a shiny black coat, that towers over her counterpart, and shows no hesitation to use her significantly larger size to undermine Caesar.
“She is absolutely lovely and subservient to her masters, never walking in front of them, and always looking for attention and approval,” he says.
Where Caesar would jump on you and demand attention, Abby would sit and stare longingly with her big brown magnetic eyes, hoping that someone would notice and attend to her.
She loves to dress up and accessorise, whether it be a shirt or dress, or even the cone-of-shame, she wears these proudly and tries to show it off to whoever she can.

“Much like any princess, if her obvious figure is called into question, or if she even hears the sound of the word ‘fat’, Abby will slink off to a corner and stare dejectedly at a wall.”
Although Caesar and Abby were bought from separate breeders, they are coincidentally born on the same day.
Yet, they could not be more different from each other, not just in terms of looks but in character, and most importantly in affection towards one another.
Caesar, who is completely in love with Abby, tries his best to have his love reciprocated, but unfortunately Abby understands that she has him wrapped around her furry paw, and therefore doesn’t take his affection as anything other than deserved.

Caesar is incredibly photogenic, often knowing just how to pose for the camera, Abby on the other hand, is unbelievably shy and refuses to be photographed, quite possibly having heard that the camera adds ten pounds.
Their lives are relatively mundane, as they, much like an old married couple, are completely invested in a routine that to the outsider may seem boring, but which to them is absolutely fascinating.
They wake up before dawn and go about their bathroom habits before sitting patiently at the stairs, waiting for their masters to come down. At night, they tend to stay awake until the last person heads to bed.

Twice a day, they stand wherever they get a vantage point to incessantly bark at their sworn enemies, two neighborhood dogs, as they go for their walks.
Aside from that, Abby spends most of her time trying to lie down next to any of her masters as they go about their work, while Caesar purposefully sniffs every inch of the house as though on a hunt for something or other.
“All in all, Caesar and Abby are happy, loving and pampered dogs. Suffice it to say, that our lives would not be the same without them,” Silva says.
