The world’s most-searched dog breeds on Google are the Australian Shepherd and the Rottweiler.
The Rottweiler is the top dog in 34 countries, scoring the biggest number of appearances for any breed, while the Australian Shepherd is the world’s most-searched breed, with 913,000 monthly hits across the four countries where it reigns supreme.
In France, the Australian Shepherd is number one, while the Cockapoo rules in the UK. Spain, on the other hand, can’t get enough of the Border Collie, while Italy is crazy for the Golden Retriever.

The Australian Shepherd is the most-searched dog breed in the US, while in Russia, the Dobermann leads the way. Yet no man is a prophet in his own country, it seems, with the Border Collie coming top for Google searches in Australia.
