Dogs love peanut butter as much as humans do, and for the same reasons.
Not only is it an excellent source of protein for our beloved pets, but it is full of fat, sugar and salt that would otherwise be absent from their ‘wild’ diet.
It’s not just all about pure indulgence though, as peanut butter also contains heart-healthy fats, vitamins B and E, and niacin – which helps with their skin and coat health.
So, the next time you’re in the mood for baking, be sure to throw in some lovely peanut butter-infused desserts and treats for your faithful companion at home.

Just a word of caution, do be selective with the kind of flour you use and be aware of any potential allergens.
The types of flour you can use
Coconut, almond, potato, lentil, chickpea, whole wheat, oat, barley and buckwheat.
The types of flour you should avoid
White or all-purpose flour.
The type of peanut butter you should use
Raw, unsalted peanut butter is the best option. When using other types or brands, make sure they don’t contain Xylitol, grape jelly or chocolate. All these ingredients are toxic to dogs.
Now that’s out of the way, on to the baking recipes!
