<p>These days, thanks to advances in engineering and automation, most noodles are made by machines in factories. But one couple in Sibu, Sarawak, continues to carry out the <a href="https://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/leisure/2024/09/06/for-over-30-years-ah-sieng-has-made-mee-sua-the-traditional-way/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span style="color: #ff0000;">time-honoured tradition</span></a> of crafting &#8220;mee sua&#8221; (wheat vermicelli) by hand.</p>
