<p>Al-Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah has had an eventful five years as Malaysia’s 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong.</p>
<p>Ascending the throne on Jan 30, 2019, Al-Sultan Abdullah expertly presided over a period of political instability which saw four different prime ministers in office.</p>
<p>He also helped navigate the country past a raging Covid-19 pandemic into more serene times.</p>
<p>Through it all, Al-Sultan Abdullah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah’s down-to-earth personalities shone through, showing them to be loving, caring and humble royals.</p>
