<p>It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And the <a href="https://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/nation/2023/12/25/lights-unite-not-divide-in-portuguese-settlement/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span style="color: #ff0000;">Portuguese Settlement</span></a> in Melaka comes alive with the merriment of the season.</p>
<p>Decorating their houses is a longstanding tradition that transforms the entire settlement into a Christmas wonderland every year.</p>
<p>Resident Gerard De Costa in particular, is going all out to make his outdoor decorations more beautiful than ever before, more so to make his granddaughter&#8217;s first Christmas all the merrier.</p>
