<p>For many, Deepavali isn&#8217;t complete without some delicious murukku. Deep-fried and crispy, they are certainly an addictive snack!</p>
<p>Fun fact: the word “murukku” is believed to have originated from the Tamil word for “twisted”, in reference to its shape.</p>
<p>FMT recently joined murukku seller M Renukavathy Murgan and her team for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of these must-have festive treats.</p>
