<p>Born in a sleepy fishing village, this humble and spirited 74-year-old painter has always been passionate about art. Inspired by his travels around the region as well as his rustic lifestyle, Chia Hoy Sai captures the essence of life through his paintings.</p>
<p>The artwork from his travels can be viewed at the gallery at Lee’s Cocoa Farm in Tanjong Sepat, where Chia also lives and conducts farm tours who those who visit.</p>
<p>There will be an exhibition on Chia’s still life paintings of local fruits at Pinkguy gallery later this year.</p>
