
He said that besides the increase in matters pertaining to Sarawak, the state manifesto would be in line with the national BN manifesto launched yesterday.
“Just wait (for) tomorrow,” said Abang Johari, when asked to elaborate on what would be included.
At the Miri City Council compound, more than 100 federal and state departments and agencies took part in the “Sejiwa Senada 2018” event.
He said the BN manifesto launched yesterday also touched on issue of the improvement of the telecommunications system in Sarawak and Sabah with the promised amount of RM2 billion, in line with the needs of both states.
Abang Johari said tourism and agriculture would be aggressively developed, particularly in the Mulu and Sibuti National Parks.
At the same event, he also announced the state government’s RM100,000 allocation to rebuild the Long Peluan Longhouse in Ulu Baram, Marudi, located more than 400km from here, where a fire on Thursday afternoon left 133 residents homeless.
