
He said PBB and its partners have a structured approach in which senior leaders mentor younger members, gradually entrusting them with greater responsibilities, Dayak Daily reported.
“Two or three new people will be introduced in every cycle, sometimes even more,” he was quoted as saying at a press conference after the GPS annual convention in Kuching today.
Abang Johari said structured guidance is important as younger leaders develop at a different pace.
He also cautioned against emotional responses when expectations are not met, stressing that political service requires patience and sincerity.
“We cannot take things personally because our main purpose is to serve,” he said.
