JKM looking for mum, relatives of 3-year-old girl

The welfare department (JKM) of Seberang Perai Utara is looking for the biological mother and relatives of a girl aged three years and six months, believed to be a victim of neglect.

In a statement, JKM said Amanda Mikayla Abdullah was reportedly left by her biological mother with a caretaker known as Layla Yamna Abdul Hajar without any identification documents.

“Investigations by social welfare officers found that the child’s biological mother, Nurul Izzati Asri, 29, cannot be contacted and has yet to be located.

“The mother’s last known address was in Yan, Kedah, and she is believed to be working in Penang,” it said.
