PETALING JAYA:
Police have arrested 11 people aged between 16 and 25 over an armed brawl at the Miri Waterfront in Sarawak early this morning.

Miri police chief Farhan Lee Abdullah said the fight, which occurred at about 2am, left a man injured.

“The victim received treatment at Sarawak General Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition,” Bernama reported him as saying.

The arrests come after a one-minute video went viral on social media showing the fight, which allegedly broke out after two men intentionally bumped into each other.

Farhan said police seized several weapons, and investigations are being conducted under Section 324/148 of the Penal Code for the use of deadly weapons in a riot.
