Rapid KL said at 8.41am the Putrajaya MRT’s services had been delayed following the intrusion, with a team deployed to locate the individual.
Alternative train services were started in the meantime.
Less than 20 minutes later at 8.57am, it reported that the intruder had been apprehended and train services were back to normal.
The alternative train services and shuttle buses were then discontinued.
“The train frequency is being adjusted and the service schedule will return to normal shortly.
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your patience,” it said in a statement.
Last week, a disruption to the Putrajaya MRT line forced train services to be operated manually.
Prasarana Malaysia Bhd suspected that this was caused by the theft of communication and signalling cables.
