PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested the former boyfriend and stepbrother of a woman found dead, naked and with her hands bound in bushes near the Blue Water Estate roundabout in Seri Kembangan on Wednesday.
Serdang police chief Farid Ahmad said they were among three men, aged between 25 and 30, arrested yesterday to help in the investigation, Betita Harian reported.
He said police, who would apply to remand the trio today, were also looking for another individual.
Farid said the victim had been identified by her sibling. He said the family had lodged a police report on her disappearance before her body was found.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
On Wednesday night, Farid had said a man filed a report about the discovery of the body at about 3.45pm.
