Bullying probe after Form 1 girl falls from first floor

PETALING JAYA:
Police confirmed that a Form 1 schoolgirl fell from the first floor of a building at a school in Shah Alam yesterday.

Shah Alam police chief Iqbal Ibrahim said the girl sustained injuries to her forehead and leg but was reported to be conscious and in stable condition.

“Yes, there was an incident yesterday involving a Form 1 female student who fell from the first floor of the school,” he was quoted by Berita Harian as saying.

He said preliminary investigations found that the girl became depressed following a breakup with her boyfriend, who is in Form 2 at the school.

He said the case is being investigated for bullying.
