
Rasbe Mezan, 52, pleaded not guilty after the charge was read to him before Muar sessions court judge Khairi Haron today, Harian Metro reported.
Rasbe is accused of committing the offence on a 14-year-old male special education student at a secondary school in Muar at about 11am on June 30.
He faces up to 20 years in prison and whipping if convicted under the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, and a further five years in jail and two strokes of the cane for being in a relationship of trust with the victim.
The court allowed him bail of RM10,000 and fixed Dec 15 for case mention.
In August, Rasbe claimed trial to sexually assaulting another student in a bus during a school field trip.
