KUALA LUMPUR:
A traffic police outrider broke his leg in a collision with a Toyota Hilux four-wheel drive vehicle at the exit of the Dengkil rest stop on the Elite highway this afternoon while escorting a delegation for the Asean summit.

The rider, a 35-year-old corporal, suffered a fractured left calf, and injured his left ankle and left knee, traffic police chief Yusri Hassan Basri said after a video clip went viral on social media.

Yusri advised the motoring public to be aware of convoy movements during the Asean summit and related meetings which end on Tuesday.
