ALOR SETAR: Two men drowned while swimming off Pantai Chenang, Langkawi, yesterday.
Langkawi deputy police chief Samsulmuddin Sulaiman said they received a report on the incident at 6.05pm.
He said the victims, aged 38 and 46, from Selangor, had come to Langkawi with their families for a holiday.
“Both victims were pulled out of the sea by members of the public.
“They were taken to the Sultanah Maliha Hospital in Langkawi, where they were pronounced dead,” he said in a statement today.
