
BUKIT MERTAJAM: The bodies of a woman and her daughter, believed to have been murdered, were found in a house in Juru here yesterday.
Penang police chief Azizee Ismail said the woman’s husband found the bodies when he returned home at about 7.30pm.
Police were investigating whether they were robbed before being murdered or otherwise, he said, adding that a forensic team was dispatched to the scene.
It is understood that the body of the woman, in her 50s, was found in the kitchen on the ground floor, and the body of her 11-year-old daughter was found upstairs.
