Man found dead after falling from car park building in Batu Caves

A man was found dead after falling from the car park building of Simfoni Heights in Batu Caves.

Gombak police chief Noor Ariffin Nasir said the incident occurred at around 4.15am with the victim, 25, found lying on the road beneath the parking complex.

“He was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical assistant from Selayang Hospital,” he said in a statement.

He said the body was taken to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for further examination and the case had been classified as sudden death.

Noor Ariffin said investigations are ongoing and advised the public to respect the privacy of the victim’s family.

He urged members of the public with information on the case to contact investigating officer Eqhmal Hakimi Zainodin at 011-3335 258.

This is the second reported case of a person falling to their death today, the first involving a Universiti Malaya student who fell at a residential college building.
