
Sanusi, who is also PAS election director, said negotiations have been completed and the parties are now waiting for an official announcement from the coalition’s leadership.
“We are in the process of finalising the seats to be contested. I cannot disclose the details yet.
“I will announce how many seats each party will be contesting,” Sinar Harian reported him as saying.
The Kedah menteri besar said the candidates and seats will likely be announced before nomination day but PN’s election machinery has already begun preparations.
“Be patient. Let there be a bit of suspense. If I reveal everything today, there will be no news left later,” he said.
The 17th Sabah election will be held on Nov 29, following the dissolution of the Sabah assembly on Oct 6.
Nomination day has been fixed for Nov 15 and early voters can cast their ballots on Nov 25.
