SPM candidate in Negeri Sembilan found dead at home

The case has been classified as sudden death.

PETALING JAYA:
A 17-year-old Form 5 student was found dead in her home in Kuala Klawang, Negeri Sembilan on Saturday.

State police chief Alzafny Ahmad said the Kuala Klawang police station received a call about the SPM candidate from a Jelebu Hospital medical officer at 11.50pm.

“The victim, a student, was found in the first room of her family’s terrace house. She had locked the room from inside,” Sinar Harian reported him as saying.

Alzafny said an inspection of the body found no defensive wounds or signs of foul play. Her personal belongings were also untouched.

“A post-mortem was done on Sunday at around 10am. The case has been classified as sudden death,” he said.
