PETALING JAYA:
Agriculture and food security minister Mohamad Sabu is undergoing “routine” treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in Kuala Lumpur, his office said today.

It said Mohamad’s medical team had advised him to rest because he displayed symptoms of fatigue, though he was in stable condition.

“For the time being, the minister will not be receiving guests so that he can rest as much as possible,” it said in a statement.

Mohamad, better known as Mat Sabu, is 70 years old. He is also the Amanah president and Kota Raja MP.

In June 2023, he was admitted to Putrajaya Hospital to undergo a surgery for appendicitis.
