The portal will allow job seekers nationwide to directly access vacancies in GLCs and GLICs.
Perkeso will also provide pre-screening, interview facilitation, and inclusive recruitment services.
The initiative was developed in collaboration with Petronas as part of its workforce transition programme which provides financial aid, career coaching, medical support, and reskilling opportunities for affected employees.
Perkeso CEO Azman Aziz Mohammed said the initiative would help address underemployment, particularly among graduates, which he described as harmful to productivity and innovation.
“Unless we address this, Malaysia will continue to face the paradox of record graduate numbers while employers still struggle to find the talent they need,” he said.
“This is where our GLCs and GLICs play a critical role.
“As some of the largest employers in Malaysia, they provide stability, scale and long-term career opportunities across sectors that are central to nation-building.”
According to Azman, more than 1.1 million high-skilled job seekers have registered with MYFutureJobs since 2020, including 211,345 new users in the first nine months of this year.
Petronas senior vice-president for group human resource management Ruslan Islahudin said the partnership would ensure employees in transition remain connected to new opportunities across GLCs and GLICs.
“By partnering with Perkeso through MYFutureJobs, Petronas is opening pathways for affected employees and other talents to continue contributing to Malaysia’s workforce,” he said.
