Cops seek family of autistic teen found on Kesas motorcycle lane

KUALA LUMPUR:
Police are seeking the family of a teenage boy, believed to be autistic, found at the motorcycle lane of the Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas) last night.

Serdang police chief Farid Ahmad said a motorcyclist using the lane discovered the boy sitting alone at Km43.2 heading to Kuala Lumpur. The boy is believed to be Chinese and estimated to be 14 years old.

“He has a light brown complexion and was wearing a short-sleeved blue shirt and blue jeans. He was not carrying any form of identification,” Farid said in a statement.

The teenager has been placed in the temporary care of the social welfare department.

Farid urged those who recognise the boy to contact the Puchong Jaya police station at 03-8075 2222.
