
Their football associations were unable to obtain the national licence for the 2025/26 season as their applications did not meet the financial criteria set out in the MFL’s club licensing regulations.
In a statement today, the MFL also said it has suspended Sri Pahang FC for one season after it withdrew from the M-League.
MFL said that under its constitution, any club that withdraws from the M-League will not receive any benefits from MFL and is prohibited from football-related activities.
It also said all three clubs will forfeit their entitlement to merit-based financial distributions after the conclusion of the 2024-2025 M-League season.
