JPJ director-general Aedy Fadly Ramli said the number plate series is being offered in conjunction with Malaysia Day 2025, Bernama reported.
Bidding will begin tomorrow (Tuesday) and continue until 10pm on Saturday via the JPJeBid online vehicle registration number bidding system. The results will be announced on Sunday.
“The GM series was chosen to further ignite the spirit of patriotism and love for the nation during the National Month,” Aedy said in a statement today.
He said the bidding prices are set based on a minimum price, starting with RM20,000 for golden numbers. Motorists can also bid for the premium numbers (RM5,000), attractive numbers (RM2,500), popular numbers (RM500) and regular numbers (RM300).
Successful bids must be registered to a vehicle within 12 months from the date the official bidding result letter is issued.
Aedy said successful bidders will also be offered two tickets to the 2026 Super GT Malaysia Festival, which can be redeemed via the email address [email protected].
