“As we celebrate 68 years of independence, I am proud to see how far Malaysia has come and the talents who have shaped our development,” said Yayasan Peneraju CEO Ibrahim Sani in a statement.
“Moving forward, we want Bumiputera talent to be at the forefront of our nation’s growth story. To accelerate this, we aim to enrol as many talents as possible to support the economy Malaysia is striving for.”
Yayasan Peneraju currently offers more than 90 technology training programmes, including cybersecurity, ethical hacking, enterprise AI, and data practitioner courses.
Short-term, high-demand programmes such as cybersecurity and AI come with financing of up to RM15,000.

Yayasan Peneraju provides up to RM150,000 in support for professional programmes, covering tuition fees, examination costs, study materials, and a monthly living allowance.
Accounting remains the most popular pathway, with more than 850 students currently pursuing the ACCA, including 701 under the Post-SPM track.
Other certifications such as CIMA, CPA Australia, ICAEW, and MICPA x CA ANZ continue to draw strong interest, while the Project Management Professional (PMP) course has 384 enrolments.
Newer programmes such as SAP Certified Associate and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) have each received over 150 applications within a month.
This year alone, more than 19,000 applications have been processed, leading to nearly 9,000 new enrolments. Of these, about 1,200 are in accounting while over 7,500 are in technology programmes.
Applications for the 3,000 new slots are now open until Dec 31, or until fully taken up.
