Perak fire and rescue department assistant director (operations) Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said they were informed about the crash at about noon, Bernama reported.
A team from the Slim River fire and rescue station was sent to the scene, 10km away.
Four people – a driver and three assistants – were in one of the lorries, transporting eggs, which crashed into the rear of a trailer lorry loaded with cement, parked by the road shoulder.
Sabarodzi said the duo, both in their 20s, were thrown out from the lorry and died at the scene.
The other two, aged 40 and 30, sustained minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
It took nearly two hours to clear the road, causing traffic congestion.
Meanwhile, a married couple died after their car skidded and crashed into electricity poles at Km13 of Jalan Segamat-Kuantan this evening.
Segamat police chief Ahmad Zamry Marinsah said the accident occurred at about 1.30pm when a Ford Mustang driven by the husband was heading towards Segamat.
He said the driver lost control of the classic car, which skidded and veered left, hitting two electric poles.
Both victims, Izuddin Harmaini, 51, and Nur Syamimi Rosli, 36, suffered serious injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
