PETALING JAYA: A fire at the Virunthu food court on Jalan Nakhoda Yusof, off Jalan Cochrane in Kuala Lumpur, razed three stalls this morning.
Kuala Lumpur fire and rescue department operations commander Nur Zaleha Zainal said seven food stalls were affected by the blaze that started at about 8.15am, and three of them were destroyed.
The other four stalls were 20% damaged, Harian Metro quoted her as saying.
She said two fire engines from the Pudu fire and rescue station and personnel from the Hang Tuah station were dispatched to the scene.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire and losses incurred are under investigation.
