Man dies after car crashes into 2 parked vehicles in Johor

Police say the 46-year-old sustained serious internal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

PETALING JAYA:
A man died after the car he was driving crashed into two vehicles that were parked along Jalan Teratai, Felda Bukit Aping Barat, in Johor last night.

Kota Tinggi district police chief Yusof Othman said police were informed about the accident at around 10.25pm, Sinar Harian reported.

He said preliminary investigations found the accident had occurred when the victim lost control of his car, before crashing into a car and a van parked in front of a house.

“The 46-year-old man sustained serious internal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene,” Yusof was quoted as saying.

He said the victim’s body was sent to Kota Tinggi Hospital’s forensic unit for a post-mortem.

The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.
