
The incident occurred at around 12.15am, as the victims were walking towards their car which was parked in the compound of the shopping complex, reported Berita Harian.
According to a witness, a group of men wearing helmets suddenly ran towards the victims and fired several shots at them.
The suspects then fled in a Perodua Alza.
Both men suffered gunshot wounds to the head and body and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Berita Harian reported that the victims’ bodies were about 5m from their vehicle.
It is believed that both victims were in their 40s and originally from Sibu, Sarawak.
Kuala Lumpur police are gathering information from eyewitnesses and reviewing CCTV footage to identify the suspects.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
It comes on the back of another shooting in Brickfields last Friday which saw one man killed and two others injured.
The trio, aged between 30 and 50, were eating with several friends at a restaurant on Jalan Tun Sambanthan when they were approached by two men on a motorcycle who fired several shots at them.
