KUANTAN:
A teenager believed to have run away from her family home in Taman Mahkota Permai here yesterday morning has been reported as missing.

Putri Alya Husna Mohd Jabar, 15, was reported missing at about 3am yesterday by her father.

Kuantan police chief Wan Zahari Wan Busu said the man last saw his daughter eating at home, at 10.30pm on Monday.

“According to him (the father), he and his wife had never had any problems or quarrelled with the victim. The girl had left the house before, but returned home,” he said in a statement today.

He said the girl did not have any close friends since the family moved from Taman Tas to Taman Mahkota Permai, and she was not enrolled in her new school.

He said she did not have a mobile phone with her as it had been confiscated by her father.

The girl is described as thin, and about 160 to 165cm tall with straight, waist-length black hair.
