PETALING JAYA:
A 44-year-old woman was found dead after she was reportedly flung out of a moving van along the Kesas Highway near the Awan Besar rest area heading towards here earlier today.

Cheras police chief Aidil Bolhassan said police received a distress call at 2.58pm from a witness who claimed to have seen the woman being ejected from the van.

“The van fled the scene. The victim was confirmed dead at the location by medical personnel,” he said in a statement today.

It is not known whether the woman died before or after being flung from the vehicle.

She has been identified as being from Menglembu, Ipoh, but her name has been withheld.

In a Sinar Harian report, Aidil also said the woman is not Pamela Ling, who has been reported missing.
