PETALING JAYA:
Police have yet to uncover any leads in their investigation into the disappearance of a woman who was last seen on April 9 while on her way to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission headquarters in Putrajaya.

“There are still no indications or developments regarding her whereabouts,” Kuala Lumpur police chief Rusdi Isa said in a brief statement to the media today.

However, he said 12 individuals have been questioned so far as part of their investigation into the missing woman, who is a “Datin Seri”.

Rusdi previously confirmed that a police report had been lodged on April 9 over the disappearance of Pamela Ling, 42, the day she had been scheduled to give a statement to the MACC.

He said Ling had visited the anti-graft agency’s headquarters multiple times before her disappearance, and her lawyer filed a police report in Seri Kembangan.

MACC officers have confirmed that Ling, a mother of three, did not arrive at the headquarters that day.

Her brother, Simon, claimed that she had been abducted. He said an e-hailing car Ling was travelling in was intercepted by three unidentified vehicles, and that she was instructed to get into one of them.

Rusdi said the e-hailing driver was unharmed, and the police are working with the immigration department to determine whether Ling is still in the country.
