Woman lodges police report, accuses actor ex-boyfriend of assault

The 26-year-old claims she was choked until she fainted for not listening to him.

The woman shared on her Instagram page pictures of the injuries to her face and body, which she alleged were caused by the actor.
PETALING JAYA:
A woman has lodged a police report alleging that she was injured by her former actor boyfriend, who she said hit and choked her until she fainted.

The 26-year-old, known only as Qhaisha, claimed that the most recent incident involving actor Ammar Alfian Aziz Zakri happened at a condominium in Damansara, after which she lodged a report at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail police station yesterday.

“The last time I was hit was on April 7. Before that, I was also choked until I fainted. He said it was because I did not listen to what he said.

“We are no longer together. We recently broke up,” Kosmo reported her as saying.

Petaling Jaya police chief Shahrulnizam Ja’afar confirmed receiving the report and said they will make a statement soon.

Previously, the woman shared on her Instagram pictures of the injuries to her face and body, which she alleged were caused by the actor.

Separately, Utusan Malaysia reported Ammar as denying Qhaisha’s allegations against him, accusing her of attempting to ruin his image as a celebrity.

“Last year you did the same thing (a police report) but I did not do anything and let it slide because I saw how immature and impulsive you were,” he said in an Instagram story.

He said he would take legal action over the matter.
