PETALING JAYA:
The health of Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Yunos has reportedly worsened after doctors discovered that his cancer has spread to his brain.

Berita Harian reported that Jamal is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Ampang.

“After undergoing an MRI scan, doctors found the cancer cells which were previously in my lungs have now spread to my brain, forming a tumour measuring 3cm,” he was quoted as saying.

He said he first experienced severe neck and head pain while cooking at home.

In December 2023, Jamal was admitted to Prince Court Medical Centre following a recurrence of his stage four lung cancer.

His health has been deteriorating since September 2022, leaving him in a weakened state and causing significant weight loss.
