Kajang police chief Naazron Yusof said they were alerted to a viral video of the truck blocking vehicles on Jalan Mahkota Residence 1 from entering the obstructed lane.

“We successfully tracked down and arrested the truck driver on March 20 at 10pm,” he said in a statement.

The case is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving, punishable by up to five years in prison and a maximum fine of RM15,000, upon conviction.
