BEAUFORT:
A teenager was found dead by his father in a room at a futsal court in Membakut, Beaufort, in Sabah, at 9.30pm last night.

In a statement, Beaufort police chief Wong Leong Meng said the victim, 17, was missing from home for two hours after going out with his family to a nearby church.

“They searched for the teenager in a locked office room at the futsal court and found the victim.”

The teenager was confirmed dead at the scene and the case has been classified as sudden death.

Wong added that an autopsy will be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
