“We are still working on tracking down the suspects,” Sinar Harian quoted him as saying.
Previously, it was reported that three masked individuals armed with parangs, and using a Perodua Bezza, fitted with fake licence plates, escaped with RM46,000 in cash from the firm’s collection and operations hub.
The incident occurred at 12.26pm on Friday while the company’s employees were counting the cash.
No casualties or injuries were reported, and the case is being investigated under Sections 395/397 of the Penal Code, which carries a prison sentence of up to 20 years and whipping if convicted.
