PETALING JAYA:
Seven students at a boarding school in Teluk Intan have lodged police reports claiming that they were bullied by their seniors on March 8.

Bagan Datuk police chief Ali Jali said the reports were filed by Form 2 and Form 4 students, Bernama reported.

They alleged that they were bullied by two Form 5 students, resulting in muscle pain and swelling in their arms.

Ali said the two Form 5 students had allegedly instructed 62 male Form Two and Four students to do 200 push-ups to “discipline” them.

He said such action was improper.

“Thus far, we have only received seven reports from the affected students,” he told reporters at the Bagan Datuk police headquarters today.

He said police were still waiting for an order to investigate from the deputy public prosecutor’s office to allow statements to be taken from the two Form 5 students.

The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt.
