PETALING JAYA: A woman died after falling from a flyover at KM 6.5 of the Federal Highway near i-City in Shah Alam, Selangor, this evening.
Klang Utara police chief S Vijaya Rao said a member of the public called the police at 3.17pm to inform them that the woman, whose nationality was unknown, had fallen from the flyover.
Policemen who went to the scene found the victim lying on the road underneath the overpass, Bernama reported.
Vijaya said a preliminary investigation found that the woman had been hit by a vehicle after she had fallen from the bridge, and was confirmed dead by medical officers.
The case has been classified as sudden death and an investigation paper has been opened.
