Senawang crash claims third victim

Two students had died earlier when a car collided with their motorcycles at a traffic light junction.

An accident involving two motorcycles and a car on Jalan Persiaran Senawang 1 last Thursday has claimed another life.

Seremban police chief Hatta Che Din said a 17-year-old youth riding one of the motorcycles was pronounced dead at 7.23pm today.

He had been receiving treatment at Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital here since the accident.

A 13-year-old friend, who sustained serious injuries, is still receiving treatment at the same hospital.

Two male secondary school students, aged 15 and 16, were killed after their motorcycles were hit by a car near the Matahari Heights traffic light junction.

The driver of the car and a passenger, aged 18 and 17 respectively, are also receiving treatment at the hospital.

Hatta said an initial investigation found that the accident occurred when the car, which was travelling from Senawang to Paroi, failed to stop at the traffic lights.
