
PETALING JAYA: Kuala Lumpur police have arrested two officers to assist in an investigation into the alleged theft of RM300,000.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Rusdi Isa said an investigation paper had been opened on the duo – an inspector aged 44 and a corporal, 34.
They were remanded for a day yesterday and are being investigated under Section 380 of the Penal Code for theft.
“The public is advised not to make any speculation that can disturb the investigation,” said Rusdi in a statement.
